Be a Part of the 2008 Olathe Youth Congress!
Olathe students in gradees 7 – 12 are encouraged to apply to the Olathe Youth Congress! This year, the general assembly will be held at Olathe Northwest High School on Tuesday, October 21, 2008!

There are three different student positions you can apply for! Please read carefully to make sure you apply for the position you are interested in!
Floor Leaders: Students who serve as Whip Leaders, Sub-committee chairs, Sgt-At-Arms, and other leadership positions. There are required meetings for students who want to serve as Floor Leaders. Click HERE to learn more and to fill out the application. These applications are due by September 10, 2008.
Senators: Students who take the lead in helping to implement the resolutions that are passed at the General Assembly. There are required meetings for students who want to serve as Senators. Click HERE to learn more and to fill out the application. These applications are due by September 10, 2008.
Representatives: Students who attend the General Assembly. These students will be assigned to one of three standing committees: Service, Leadership, or Environment. Students will discuss and debate resolutions, and will vote to determine which resolution(s) pass this year’s Olathe Youth Congress General Assembly. Click HERE to apply.
