Available Positions
  1. Senator: Students who take a leadership role before, during, and after the General Assembly. [At General Assemby, Senators make up the Cabinet, Floorleaders, Whipleaders, Sergent-At-Arms, et al.] Senators must implement resolution(s) through Committee work year-round.
  2. Representatives: Attend the General Assembly as a Representative of their school and participate in all General Assembly work.
  3. Select the Position(s) you are applying for. Students are encouraged to sign up both as a Floor Leader AND a Senator

2008 Youth Congress Applications

What are you waiting for?  Have you turned in your application for the 2008 Youth Congress General Assembly?  We are currently accepting applications for Senator and Floor Leader positions.  This is your time to shine!  You can make a difference but you need to take the first step and fill out the application.

The application is available through our website.  Just click on the Senator & Floor Leader (Red) application button on the front of the website.  It just takes a few minutes!

Darfur – 2008 Olathe Youth Congress Resolution

The 2008 Olathe Youth Congress voted as their resolution this year to focus on raising education and awareness about the genocide taking place in Darfur.

Youth Congress is looking for students who are willing to join the effort to help out.  If you would like to get involved:
